Cambodia
In 2019, the Fair Finance Cambodia (FFC) national coalition was established by a group of civil society organizations (CSOs) committed to advancing sustainable finance in Cambodia. Since its inception, the coalition has developed a strategic roadmap to guide its efforts toward the goal. Currently, members of the FFC coalition include Oxfam in Cambodia, NGO Forum on Cambodia (NGOF), Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC), ActionAid Cambodia (AAC), STAR Kampuchea (SK), SILAKA, and Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA). The primary objective of the FFC coalition is to reduce the negative impacts of cross-border investments on human rights, the environment, and climate change, especially those made by multinational financial institutions, banks, and insurance companies. In addition, the FFC aims to promote inclusive economic development in the country.
